Measurement & traceability
In order to ensure with high precision and in an efficient manner that the dimensions of a finished component correspond to the dimensions indicated on its drawing, we have access to a number of different measuring tools. The measurement frequency of a production can also be controlled by customer requirements and can range from “first and last bit” control, to control of every detail produced including documented measurements in measurement protocols.
In normal production, customers ‘ items are marked with item numbers. Many products and orders also require more traceability where marking of item no., serial no. in batch and order no.
